The Owners and Stallholders of Kuranda Original markets are sad at the passing of Our beloved Jim Mealing. Jim, along with his late wife Olive, became icons of the history of Kuranda. We will endevour to carry on the vision Jim and Olive had for Kuranda with the legacy of the markets. Our sincere condolences to Jim’s Family. He will be missed by all.

Beloved Husband of Olive (deceased), loved Father and Father-in-law of Sandra and Graham Edwards (Cardwell), Carol-Anne Flemming (Townsville), Brother of Bill Mealing and Ray Mealing (deceased), Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Uncle and Friend to many. All relatives, Friends, Korean Vets and Members of the Cardwell R.S.L. Sub branch are respectfully invited to attend the FUNERAL SERVICE for JAMES commencing at 10.00 a.m. THURSDAY, 3rd MAY, 2012 in the Cardwell Community Hall, Cardwell. Followed by interment in the Cardwell Cemetery.
