If only we could comprehend what they see and have seen would like to be a fly on that wall. I was one of the first so called hippies in Kuranda . I lived in a treehouse that my mates and I built. Caretaker Kevin flew me up from Brissy we were met by friends in a Kombi Van. Jesus met us then had a fight with God two people who totally blew me away. That was in the 70s. Went on to have two sons into the Rusch family Rastah an Reuben. I was there when the markets first opened. There used to be an actual tourist Pamplet saying Come to Kuranda the hippie centre of North Queensland! Those were those days now is now. So pleased the markets have gone on and matured grown and flourished also the town itself,
